LLC “Tomography of reinforced concrete” specializes in ultrasonic and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) inspection of concrete and reinforced concrete structures and elements of buildings and facilities. Our services include detection of concealed internal defects in concrete (foreign objects, debris, voids, and cavities); determination of reinforcement parameters—such as spacing, concrete cover thickness, and rebar diameters—using the ultrasonic pulse-echo method; measurement of thicknesses of foundation slabs, grade beams, walls, floor slabs, and roof slabs under single-sided access conditions; and identification of voids and soil loosening in surrounding ground strata across Moscow and the Moscow Region.

We provide expert support in the following areas:
— Determining geometric characteristics, including thickness of monolithic reinforced concrete foundation slabs and grade beams, basement walls, retaining walls, and diaphragm walls, even under single-sided access conditions;
— Detecting the presence or absence of cold joints (delaminations, layer misalignment) in monolithic reinforced concrete foundation slabs, grade beams, basement walls, retaining walls, and diaphragm walls, including cases with single-sided access;
— Identifying concealed internal defects in concrete, such as cracks, voids, cavities, and zones of insufficient compaction in monolithic reinforced concrete foundation slabs, grade beams, walls, piers, columns, floor slabs, and roof slabs, including under single-sided access;
— Locating reinforcement elements within reinforced concrete members (vertical and horizontal main rebars in piers and columns; upper and lower rebar mats in slabs) and determining reinforcement parameters (spacing, concrete cover depth, number of reinforcement layers);
— Providing technical support and assistance during acceptance inspections of completed monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete structures in compliance with Working Documentation (WD) and applicable regulatory standards;
— Minimizing the number of destructive cover-depth verification openings required during technical inspections of concrete and reinforced concrete structural elements by utilizing non-destructive evaluation methods.
Upon request, we conduct comprehensive technical inspections of buildings and structures in accordance with GOST 31 937-2024, SP 13-102-2003, and other current regulatory documents. We also perform expert assessments of individual load-bearing concrete and reinforced concrete components of any structural type, system, or functional purpose, throughout Russia and around the world, either for specific scopes of work or in full, using the following methods:
— Ultrasonic shadow-method defectoscopy of concrete and reinforced concrete structures;
— Ultrasonic pulse-echo defectoscopy and concrete imaging;
— Detection of hidden defects and reinforcement characterization via magnetic, GPR, and ultrasonic pulse-echo techniques (including ultrasonic echo tomography);
— GPR surveying of concrete and reinforced concrete structural elements and building components;
— GPR investigation of floor systems and underlying subgrade soils to locate voids and zones of reduced density;
— GPR assessment of foundation slabs, mat foundations, and subgrade soils to detect voids and soil loosening beneath slab soffits.
DELIVERABLES
Upon completion of fieldwork and data analysis, we issue a formal Inspection Report or Technical Conclusion containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on the results of the investigation.
